1. About Sohtak

Sohtak ("we", "us", "the platform") is an online booking marketplace operating in Lebanon that connects users ("clients", "patients") with independent verified healthcare, wellness, and home-care professionals ("providers").

Sohtak does not employ providers, does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment, and is not an emergency service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the platform.

3. Account & accuracy

  • You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
  • You must not impersonate any other person or entity.

4. Bookings & payments

Confirmation of a booking is subject to provider acceptance and availability. Payment terms (online, at the clinic, or via Whish Money) are displayed before confirmation. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy for changes and refunds.

5. Provider relationship

Providers are independent professionals and are solely responsible for the services, advice, treatment, or care they deliver. Sohtak does not guarantee any specific outcome from any service.

6. Acceptable use

  • No fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
  • No scraping, reverse engineering, or interfering with the platform.
  • No content that is defamatory, harassing, or violates third-party rights.

7. Intellectual property

All trademarks, logos, software, and content on the platform belong to Sohtak or its licensors and are protected by applicable law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sohtak is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform or the services delivered by providers.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Lebanese Republic. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Beirut.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
