Patient Consent
Last updated: May 2026
By booking a session through Sohtak, you ("the patient") acknowledge and consent to the following:
- Sohtak is a booking marketplace, not a medical provider, and is not an emergency service.
- The professional you book is independent and solely responsible for the care, advice, treatment, or service they provide.
- You consent to share with the chosen professional the personal and health-related information necessary to deliver the booked service.
- For online sessions, you understand that limitations of telehealth (network quality, inability to perform a physical examination) may affect the consultation.
- For home services (nursing, injections, wound care, blood sampling), you confirm the service address is suitable and that you accept the inherent limitations of an at-home setting.
- You will follow the professional's instructions and seek emergency care if your condition worsens.
- You may withdraw consent at any time; doing so may end the consultation.
This consent is presented again as a checkbox before each booking is confirmed.
